Cultura Nova is an annual cross-border cultural summer festival in Heerlen and the surrounding area, which has been organized since 1991. The festival offers theatre, film, music, dance and visual arts, often on location, in collaboration with Parkstad Limburg Theaters, Glaspaleis and Filmhuis De Spiegel, among others. The locations are spread over Heerlen, Parkstad Limburg and the rest of the Meuse-Rhine Euregion, such as the vicinity of Aachen and often in the open air.
